How to Build a High-Tech Skincare Routine Like Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr shared a 15–20 minute high-tech skincare routine using KORA Organics products, red-light therapy, and microcurrent devices on a podcast.
You will be able to build a high-tech skincare routine that combines red-light therapy devices and microcurrent tools with a clean, certified-organic base. This follows the approach Miranda Kerr shared on the Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari podcast.
The routine uses her KORA Organics products and devices such as the LYMA Laser and NuFace Trinity. It can be completed in about 15–20 minutes depending on device usage.
What You’ll Need
- KORA Organics Turmeric Glow Foaming Cleanser (morning) and Cream Cleanser (night)
- KORA Organics Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Scrub + Mask
- KORA Organics Active Algae Minty Mist
- KORA Organics Turmeric Glow Drops Niacinamide Alternative Serum
- KORA Organics Turmeric Glow Moisturizer
- A facial oil (any clean brand)
- A red-light therapy device (Kerr uses two LYMA Lasers)
- A laser mat for the body (optional)
- A microcurrent device (Kerr uses the NuFace Trinity)
- A rose-quartz gua sha tool
- A Theragun Mini (or similar percussive massage device)
Start with a Double Cleanse
Begin with clean skin. In the morning, use the Turmeric Glow Foaming Cleanser to gently remove impurities. At night, switch to the Cream Cleanser for a deeper clean. Kerr never skips this step: “Never go to sleep without washing your face.”
Exfoliate 1–2 Times Weekly
Apply the Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Scrub + Mask to slough off dead skin cells. Use it as a scrub or leave it on as a mask for extra brightness. Do not exfoliate more than twice a week to avoid irritation.
Hydrate with a Mist
Mist your face with the Active Algae Minty Mist to add a layer of hydration. This preps the skin for the next steps. It is especially helpful during flights or in dry environments.
Apply a Brightening Serum
Use the Turmeric Glow Drops Niacinamide Alternative Serum. Kerr says it “brightens, evens out my skin tone, and helps keep my complexion hydrated and smooth.” Apply a few drops to your face and neck.
Seal with Moisturizer
Apply the Turmeric Glow Moisturizer morning and night. Kerr calls it “the creme de la creme of face creams.” She says it is the product that has made the biggest difference for her skin. It leaves skin “so hydrated and plump” and works well under makeup.
Lock in Moisture with Oil
Finish your base routine with a facial oil to lock in moisture and create a protective barrier. Kerr includes this step when flying, but you can use it daily if your skin needs extra nourishment.
Use Red-Light Therapy
After cleansing and before applying serums (or as directed by the device), use your red-light therapy device. Kerr uses two LYMA Lasers simultaneously at night for 3 minutes per session. She also uses a laser mat for her body.

“I love it, it’s something I have been into for a while! I have red lights and a laser mat for my body, I have it all going on!”
She initially used the devices while wearing pyjamas, but later realised you get better results using them naked.
Try Microcurrent Toning
Use a microcurrent device like the NuFace Trinity to tone facial muscles and improve circulation. Kerr wishes she had started microcurrent facials sooner. Follow the device’s instructions, typically using it on clean, dry skin before moisturizer.
Stimulate Lymphatic Drainage
Incorporate a rose-quartz gua sha and a Theragun Mini to stimulate lymphatic drainage and reduce puffiness. Use gentle upward strokes with the gua sha. Run the Theragun Mini along your jawline and neck for a few minutes.
Check Your Results

Your skin should feel hydrated, plump, and look radiant. Kerr describes the Turmeric Glow Moisturizer as bringing “radiance into your life and your skin!” If you notice redness, irritation, or breakouts, you may be over-exfoliating or layering too many active ingredients.
Kerr keeps her routine simple and predictable to avoid this.
“At 43, I am looking at all these things. At the end of the day, having healthy skin is the most beautiful thing.”
Stick to the steps above and adjust frequency based on how your skin reacts.
