Samsung TV Plus has renewed Hooligans: The ARCH Racing Project with Keanu Reeves & Gard Hollinger for a second season.
The streamer announced the renewal on August 13, 2026 — three days before the six-episode docuseries’ Season 1 finale on August 16 at 9 p.m. ET.
The early renewal marks a vote of confidence in the platform’s first original docuseries, which follows Reeves and Hollinger — co-founders of ARCH Motorcycle — alongside riders Corey Alexander and Jeremy McWilliams as the team competes in the MotoAmerica road racing series.
Produced by V10 Entertainment, the show has drawn comparisons to Netflix’s Drive to Survive for its access to riders and crews away from the track.
Renewal Ahead of the Finale
Announcing a second season before the first has aired its final episode is a notable programming signal for a free ad-supported platform that launched original content in the Hooligans space.
“Hooligans had real momentum from day one, and as our first original docuseries, it’s been a defining moment for Samsung TV Plus,” Brodsky said.
Salek Brodsky, SVP and global head of Samsung TV Plus, framed the renewal as a continuation of that bet.
“Keanu and Gard have built something that captures the thrill of motorcycle culture through character-driven stories about craftsmanship, innovation and pushing boundaries.
Renewing Hooligans reflects our commitment to premium originals that resonate well beyond the screen, and we’re thrilled to keep building alongside Keanu, Gard and V10 Entertainment.”
“When we set out to make Hooligans, we wanted to capture something authentic about motorcycle racing: the risk, the family, the obsession that pulls people in,” Stevens said.
John Stevens, CEO of V10 Entertainment, said the partnership gave the production room to focus on the racing world rather than the streamer playbook.
“Keanu and Gard brought a level of passion and specificity that pushed us all to dig deeper.
Samsung TV Plus gave us the room to tell this story right.
Seeing it resonate the way it has means everything to this team.
We can’t wait to share what’s in store for season two.”
Building a Motorcycle Vertical
The docuseries sits inside the Samsung TV Plus Exclusives banner, which also includes the four-part scripted anthology Unlikely Romances from Dhar Mann Studios.
Earlier this summer, the platform added a 24/7 companion outlet: the MotoAmericaTV Channel, stocked with more than 200 hours of premium motorcycle racing content spanning live event streams, full race replays, practice and qualifying sessions, behind-the-scenes footage, and archival video tied to the 2026-27 season.
Hooligans is designed to feed that channel, not float alongside it.
Reeves and Hollinger are credited as executive producers alongside Sharon Hollinger, Carter Skeath, Chance Wright, Rick DeOliveira, and Stevens, with Alan Bloom serving as showrunner.
Hooligans is produced by V10 Entertainment, Thank You Pictures, and Trojan Horse Productions.
Season 2 will continue following the ARCH Racing team and professional motorcycle racing.
