TikTok Partners With Madonna for ‘Confessions II’ Global Campaign

NEW YORK – TikTok has partnered with Madonna for a multi-part global campaign promoting the release of her upcoming album Confessions II, as the platform continues to position itself as a central hub for music discovery and fan engagement.

The album drops on July 3, but fans will get an early preview through a livestreamed release event from London on July 2.

That event, hosted in partnership with iHeartRadio, will stream worldwide on TikTok LIVE via the @tiktok, @madonna, and @iheartradio accounts, as well as on more than 200 iHeartRadio stations nationwide.

The hour-long broadcast will feature Madonna in conversation with Bob The Drag Queen, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, inspirations and stories behind the new music.

Livestream Details and Fan Interaction

On July 2, Madonna will join TikTok and iHeartRadio for the iHeartRadio and TikTok LIVE Premiere with Madonna from her album release party in London — a global event offering fans an exclusive first listen to Confessions II ahead of its July 3 release,” a TikTok spokesperson said in a statement.

Streaming worldwide on TikTok LIVE and iHeartRadio, the hour-long broadcast will see Madonna joined by Bob The Drag Queen for a candid conversation, providing a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, inspirations and stories surrounding the new music.

During the livestream, fans can engage in real time through TikTok features including polls, fan Q&A, and live callouts.

The iHeartRadio and TikTok LIVE Premiere with Madonna will give viewers an exclusive first listen to select tracks from Confessions II before the album’s official release the following day.

Additionally, fans can visit iHeartRadio’s digital station Hit Nation and use the talkback feature to share their confessions with Madonna beginning June 29 until the show on July 2.

Pop-Up Experiences and In-App Activations

Beyond the livestream, TikTok is launching immersive pop-up experiences called “TikTok House of Confessions” in New York and London.

These spaces will offer curated merchandise, including a limited-edition TikTok vinyl variant, exclusive listening sessions, and Confessions-themed content creation opportunities for attendees.

The platform is also introducing a dedicated in-app experience with themed content, rewards, profile frames, and interactive tools designed to build fan engagement globally around the release.

Registration for the livestream event is available on Madonna’s TikTok page.

Madonna currently commands over 5.1 million followers on TikTok, a figure the platform highlighted in its announcement.

“Madonna is one of the most beloved artists in the app, with over 5.1 million followers who continue to rediscover, reinterpret, and celebrate her music,” the TikTok statement noted.

The partnership underscores TikTok’s broader strategy to deepen its role as a primary platform for music discovery and artist-to-fan connection, leveraging a legacy superstar to drive engagement across both digital and physical experiences.
