Attack on Titan 3 Finally Lands December 10, 2026

Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have officially confirmed that Attack on Titan 3 will launch on December 10, 2026, bringing the franchise’s eight-year gaming hiatus to an end.

The hack-and-slash title, first revealed during Summer Game Fest in June, will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with both physical and digital editions planned for console platforms.

The announcement, made via a Crunchyroll press release, ends years of speculation about the next mainline adaptation.

The series’ original manga concluded in April 2021, and the anime wrapped in November 2023, but the games have lagged behind — the last entry, Attack on Titan 2, shipped in March 2018.

Platforms, Editions, and Early Access

At launch, the game will be available in a standard edition priced at €69.99, a SteelBook launch edition, and a digital Deluxe Edition for €89.99.

The Deluxe Edition includes early access 72 hours before the official release (except on Switch 2), a digital artbook, a character customization pack, an original equipment pack, a starter item pack, and an early access key.

Players who have save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle on the same platform will receive additional bonuses, with more details to be announced later.

The Steam version will be digital download only.

From the First Chapter to the Finale

Omega Force, the studio behind the Dynasty Warriors series and the previous Attack on Titan games, is adapting the story from the very first chapters through to the shocking finale.

The game’s official trailer, released in early July 2026, showcased the series’ signature omni-directional mobility gear combat, with new attacks and behaviors for the titans.

Players will join the Scout Regiment as a new protagonist, interact with the iconic cast, and assemble squads.

The game also features Exterior Scouting Missions, where players can construct supply bases, take down titans, and expand humanity’s domain.

A Regimental HQ mode allows players to form bonds with characters and unlock never-before-told stories.

Language support includes Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, and Spanish text, with Japanese audio.

The game is single-player only.

A Long-Awaited Return

The release of Attack on Titan 3 marks the first new mainline entry in the gaming series since 2018.

The original Attack on Titan game launched worldwide in August 2016, followed by Attack on Titan 2 in March 2018.

The franchise’s return to theaters earlier this year — Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK was re-released in U.S. and Canadian theaters on May 18 as part of Crunchyroll’s Anime Nights — helped reignite fan interest.

With the story now complete in both manga and anime, Attack on Titan 3 promises to deliver the final evolution of human-versus-titan combat, closing the loop on a saga that has captivated audiences for over a decade.
