Re:Zero Season 4 Part 2 Premiere Locks Next Episode Date

Episode 13 of Re:Zero Season 4 Part 2 premieres on August 19, 2026.

Episode 13 of Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World Season 4 is set to premiere on August 19, 2026, arriving exactly one week after “The Recapture Arc” launched the season’s second cour on August 12.

New episodes drop on Wednesdays at 6 a.m. Pacific Time (9 a.m. Eastern Time), with both subtitled and dubbed versions expected to go live simultaneously on Crunchyroll worldwide.

Subaru’s Next Move

Episode 12, “The Story From Here On,” marked the official kickoff of the eight-episode Recapture Arc, sending Natsuki Subaru and his allies toward the Pleiades Watchtower in the Auguria Dunes.

The destination is no casual undertaking: the tower is home to Shaula, an all-seeing “wise man” said to possess every form of knowledge, and the desert is so perilous that even Reinhard van Astrea, the Sword Saint, failed to conquer it.

The mission carries personal weight. In the aftermath of the Watergate City of Priestella battle that concluded the Loss Arc, the Authority of Gluttony left Rem in an unending sleep, erased Crusch’s memories, and consumed Julius Juukulius’s name.

Reclaiming what was lost now defines the season’s second half.

Crunchyroll remains the exclusive home for the series across North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, India, and Southeast Asia.

In Japan, the show airs across 21 broadcast stations including AT-X and Tokyo MX.

The first eleven episodes of the season remain available on Crunchyroll for fans catching up on the Loss Arc’s brutal Priestella aftermath.

Behind the Scenes

Studio WHITE FOX continues to handle animation production, with Masahiro Shinohara directing, Masahiro Yokotani on series composition, and Haruka Segawa serving as character designer and chief animation director.

Tappei Nagatsuki, the original light novel author, remains on board as script supervisor, with Kenichiro Suehiro composing the music.

The core cast returns: Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru Natsuki, Rie Takahashi as Emilia, Satomi Arai as Beatrice, Rie Murakawa as Ram, and Inori Minase as Rem.

Re:Zero Season 4 Part 2 Premieres

Also featured are Takuya Eguchi as Julius Juukulius, Kana Ueda as Anastasia Hoshin, Eri Suzuki as Meili Portroute, and Fairouz Ai as Shaula, whose role expands as the Recapture Arc shifts toward the tower that bears her order’s name.

Counting Down to Episode 79

Episode 13 of Season 4 corresponds to episode 79 of the series overall, a quietly significant milestone for a franchise that began with its 2016 premiere.

The full fourth season spans 19 episodes, split into the 11-episode Loss Arc that began on April 8 and the eight-episode Recapture Arc now underway.

A trailer released one week before the arc’s August 12 premiere previewed the confrontations with the Gluttony Sin Archbishops and featured a portion of “Ender Ember” by MYTH & ROID feat. TK from Ling Tosite Sigure.

With the Recapture Arc’s tight eight-episode structure, the pacing leaves little room for detours: every installment from here carries the series toward its season finale without the breathing room the Loss Arc enjoyed.

“Re:ZERO” adapts Tappei Nagatsuki’s isekai light novel series, illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka, which began in 2014 under MF Bunko J and has reached 45 main volumes as of June 2026, available in English from Yen Press.

The first three seasons premiered in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
