Javits Convention Center, signals the event’s growing ambition as a destination for top-tier J-Pop acts.
Anime NYC 2026 runs August 20–23, with yama’s set anchoring the Friday evening music program. The appearance marks a significant milestone for the artist, who has built a devoted following through emotionally charged singles and anime theme songs.
From Anime Themes to a Sold-Out Asia Tour
yama debuted in April 2020 with the original song “Haru wo Tsugeru” and quickly gained traction with tracks such as “Magical Syndrome,” featured in the Magical Chiikawa special music video, and “Shikisai (color),” the ending theme for the hit anime SPY×FAMILY.
Her clear, ethereal voice and explorations of loneliness and inner conflict have resonated widely.
In 2025, yama completed the Asia tour “Koshitantan 2025,” performing in Seoul, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Singapore, and Hong Kong to a total audience of roughly 7,000 fans. She is now preparing for a busy 2026: a concept EP titled C.U.T is due in March, followed by a nationwide tour called “Uka.”
Her Anime NYC appearance will be her first performance on the U.S. east coast.
Concert Tickets and Pricing
Tickets for yama’s Anime NYC concert went on sale Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET. All prices include the 8.875% New York sales tax. Gold and Silver tiers have already sold out, while limited quantities remain for Bronze and General Admission.

Attendees must also hold a badge valid for Friday admission — either a Friday-only, 4-Day, or Anime NYC+ badge. Seating in Gold, Silver, and Bronze areas is guaranteed for ticketholders who are in line before their group loads. The deadline to submit a Gold ticket return request is August 13.
For the convention overall, Saturday tickets are already sold out, 4-Day badges are selling quickly, and General Admission passes remain available.
yama’s first east coast show, combined with the convention’s record-breaking attendance projections, underscores Anime NYC’s evolution into a key platform for Japanese music artists expanding their U.S. reach.
