‘A Shop for Killers’ Season 2 Sets July Premiere on Disney+ and Hulu

Disney+ and Hulu will premiere the second season of the hit Korean thriller A Shop for Killers on July 22, 2026.

It brings back series leads Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun as the assassin drama expands its global scope with new Japanese cast members.

The eight-episode sequel is part of a broader wave of Korean originals returning to the streamer, including Moving and Made in Korea.

The new season picks up with Jian (Kim Hye-jun) now running the weapons shop and Jinman (Lee Dong-wook) back from the dead.

They work to fend off a humiliated Babylon, which recruits overseas reinforcements to rebuild its ranks and seek revenge.

New Faces Join the Assassin War

Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun reprise their roles as Jeong Jinman and Jeong Jian, respectively.

They are joined by Japanese stars Hyunri (Pachinko) as team leader Q and Masaki Okada (Drive My Car) as mercenary J.

Season 1 writers Jee Hojin and Lee Kwon return for the new season, with Lee Kwon also directing.

The eight-episode season will premiere with two episodes on July 22, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday through the season finale on August 12.

Disney+’s Korean Slate Expands

The first season of A Shop for Killers proved to be a global success for the platforms.

It ranked as Disney+’s most-watched Asia Pacific original of 2024, until the Korean series Light Shop overtook it that December.

The series is part of a wave of Korean sequels coming to Disney+.

Made In Korea will return with its second season later this year, while Moving has begun production on its second season.

Season 1 of Made in Korea became the streamer’s most-viewed Korean original premiere of 2025 across Asia-Pacific markets.

The streamer has also greenlit a high-profile Korean remake of the hit FX series The Americans.

Lee Byung-hun and Han Ji-min are set to play a North Korean spy couple undercover in Seoul.

A Shop for Killers Season 1 is streaming now, with Season 2 launching July 22 on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the U.S.
